ALLIANCE MEMORY ACQUIRES TEST EQUIPMENT FROM RELIABILITY SINGAPORE AND ESTABLISHES TESTING FACILITY IN TAIWAN

SAN MATEO, Calif. AlAlliance Memory, Inc., a leading supplier of Legacy SRAM Memory products, today announced the purchase of test and "back end" equipment from Reliability Singapore Pte Ltd. Reliability Singapore Pte Ltd. is a respected supplier of advanced memory Testing, Burn-in, Lead scan, Mark and Tape & Reel services for several SRAM suppliers, including Alliance Memory. Assets included in this sale are three (3) Advantest Testers, six (6) Burn-in Ovens, six (6) Advantest Handlers, 20+ Hi-fix and Change kit boards, Marking equipment capable of marking 1.5M units per month, Lead Scan equipment and Tape & Reel machines. This purchase allows Alliance Memory to take more control of its "back end" operations, thus providing customers with cost effective operations, shorter lead times and superior quality products. This new testing facility is headquartered in Taiwan, along side Alliance Memory's assembly partners.

In addition to this purchase, Alliance Memory announces the hiring of Warren Fondrie as VP of Operations located in Taiwan. Mr. Fondrie will manage the Taiwan manufacturing and testing operations. Mr. Fondrie was previously COO and Taiwan General Manager for NanoAmp Solutions and prior to that Vice President at GSI Technologies, (NASDAQ: GSIT), both SRAM suppliers. "We are very lucky to have added Warren to the Alliance Memory team. Not only will he manage the Taiwan office but also assist our SE Asia sales team. Warren will reside in Taiwan" says David Bagby.
