SAN CARLOS, Calif. — Alliance Memory Inc., a worldwide provider of legacy memory ICs for the communications, computing, industrial, and consumer markets, today announced that it has expanded its footprint in Asia with the appointment of Anny Chen as production coordinator in the company's Taiwan office. In her new position, Chen is responsible for coordinating the production of Alliance Memory products across the multiple vendors in the company's fabless manufacturing model.
"Having already established a strong presence for our SRAM and synchronous DRAM products throughout the United States and Europe, we are committed to increasing our capabilities in Asia in order to provide even greater access to our legacy memory solutions," said William Chen, sales representative for Alliance Memory in Taiwan. "The addition of Anny to our Taiwan office is a key step in achieving this goal and expanding our footprint in the region."
Chen comes to Alliance Memory from ESL Express and ESL Air & Ocean Co., where she served as an operator for nine years. In this role, she was responsible for coordinating shipments to ensure their on-time arrival, including booking air cargo space with airlines and handling customs clearance. Chen holds a degree in applied English from WuFeng University.
