MICRON J3, P30, AND P33 1.8V AND 3V PARALLEL NOR FLASH PRODUCTS NOW AVAILABLE DIRECT FROM ALLIANCE MEMORY

In keeping with our commitment to meeting our customers’ legacy component needs, Alliance Memory has become an authorized supplier for Micron’s J3, P30, and P33 series of parallel NOR flash devices, which the company had previously discontinued. Micron will continue to produce these devices for Alliance Memory and intends to only supply Alliance Memory for any new orders placed through mid-2021, providing our customers with a steady supply for a minimum of two more years. EXPANDING OUR PRESENCE IN THE MIDWEST AND CENTRAL U.S.

Alliance Memory has signed a rep agreement with Northfield, Illinois-based Industrial Representatives Inc. (IRI). Under the agreement, the company is now offering our entire lineup of SRAM, DRAM, and flash ICs to its customers throughout the Midwest and Central United States, including Illinois, Wisconsin, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas, with Kansas to be added in January 2021. As we say goodbye to a challenging 2020, we’re feeling grateful at Alliance Memory to have come through the year safely as a team, and to have been able to be a trusted resource for our customers without missing a beat. In fact, we experienced 20% growth over 2019. Our company continued to evolve its mission with new product lines, increased brand awareness in the Americas and Europe, and further cooperation with Micron Technology — to provide loyal customers of Micron’s legacy NOR flash products with a reliable and trustworthy source for additional supply beyond stated PCN last-time shipment dates.

 

But enough about 2020. We’re focused on 2021, and we’re looking forward to a tremendous year with new DRAM and flash products, more participation in chipsets and reference designs, expanding partnerships with Micron and other industry leaders, and several altogether new product categories for Alliance Memory. One thing that won’t change is our commitment to you, our customers and partners, to continue earning your business and trust no matter what the future brings.

MICRON M29F, M45PE, AND N25Q PARALLEL AND SERIAL NOR FLASH PRODUCTS NOW AVAILABLE DIRECT FROM ALLIANCE MEMORY

In keeping with our commitment to meeting our customers’ legacy component needs, Alliance Memory has become an authorized reseller for Micron’s M29F 5V parallel, M45PE 3V serial, and N25Q 1.8V and 3V serial NOR flash devices, which the company had previously discontinued. Micron will continue to produce these devices for Alliance Memory and intends to only supply Alliance Memory for any new orders placed through mid-2021, providing our customers with a steady supply for a minimum of two more years.

 

 

NEW 1.8V AND 3V SPI NAND FLASH MEMORY

 

To meet the growing demand for serial peripheral interface (SPI) NAND flash memory products in the automotive, industrial, communications, and consumer electronics markets, Alliance Memory introduces the new AS5F series of 1.8V to 3V devices with densities from 1Gb to 8Gb and high-speed clock frequencies up to 120MHz. NEW 8Gb HIGH-SPEED CMOS DDR4 SDRAMS

To meet the increasing demand for higher-density CMOS DDR4 SDRAMs, Alliance Memory has expanded its portfolio with two new 8Gb devices. Delivering improved performance over previous-generation DDR3 SDRAMs, the AS4C1G8D4 and AS4C512M16D4 offer lower power consumption and faster data transfer rates in 78-ball and 96-ball FBGA packages, respectively. Alliance Memory has introduced compatibility tables that make it easy to determine which of our solutions can be used as the external memory interface for FPGAs, DSPs, embedded processors, SOCs, MCUs, and more from manufacturers including Analog Devices, Atmel, Intel, Lattice Semiconductor Corporation, STMicroelectronics, Texas Instruments, and Xilinx. LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT

 

Dear Customers, Partners, and Friends of Alliance Memory,

 

COVID-19 presents unknown challenges for us all. At Alliance Memory we have responded to the latest developments and have introduced various measures to protect our customers, partners, and colleagues. Without ignoring the challenges ahead, we’re focused on continuing to support our customers, and finding many reasons for optimism about the future:

 

  • As of today, continuation of our production is secured based on sufficient stock and deliveries. Our U.S. headquarters colleagues work in two teams, which work either in the morning or in the afternoon, avoiding personal contact. Product is being shipped to our customers, including manufacturers of critical medical equipment, as normal.
  • Our office in Taiwan is operating normally, as are our Taiwan-based test and assembly partners.
  • In all other departments, most colleagues work from their home offices, and the colleagues remaining in our brick-and-mortar offices also work in teams and have enough space to practice social distancing.
  • We’re expecting to close out this month as our best March ever!
  • Our global sales offices are also operational, either by working in teams and shifts or from home office. Customer consulting and support are available as usual.

We are very proud to be part of an industry that has responded calmly and courageously to the COVID-19 challenge by continuing to do its vital work. We appreciate everything our distributors and customers are doing to ensure the continued delivery of products around the globe.

LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT

 

For many in the industry 2019 has been something of a challenge, with a slow global economic climate exacerbated by the USA/China tariff trade war, Brexit, and general geo-political unrest in many major countries worldwide.

 

At Alliance Memory, as both a legacy and new technology supplier, we tend to take challenging years in our stride. As a privately held fabless company, we don’t live from quarter to quarter like many of our competitors. We invest heavily into producing products, and holding more finished good stock in our warehouses, so we can maintain consistent pricing and shorter lead times over longer periods. We do this with our customers in mind, knowing that this helps them with project budget planning and dependable production support.

 

At the same time, we re-invest back into our company to further develop and expand our product portfolio. For us, 2019 was actually a great year, as we continued to broaden our offering of well-designed and competitively priced products and to grow our organization in ways that will directly benefit our customers. We’re bringing that positive outlook to our planning for 2020, during which you’ll see us introduce some new categories of products while extending the product lines that are already coming to the rescue for so many customers.

 

We would like to thank our customers, our distributors and partners for their support of Alliance Memory and wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year.

Our new line of 5V parallel NOR Flash memory products in boot and uniform sectored architectures offer reliable, long-term performance for embedded systems. When Micron Technology announced a last-time buy date for some of its most popular 8Gb DDR3L single-die SDRAMs, we responded by offering the original Micron part numbers, along with Alliance Memory identical replacements of the monolithic devices. In keeping with our commitment to supporting our customers’ legacy SDRAM needs, we’re excited to now announce the immediate availability of dual-die-package 8Gb DDR3L SDRAMs for long-term support and new designs.
