SAN CARLOS, Calif. — August 27, 2013 — Alliance Memory today announced that it has bolstered support for its customers in China with the appointment of Mars Zhang as country manager. In his new role, Zhang is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with Alliance Memory’s customers in China.
“Over the past few years, Alliance has added key distributors in China while introducing new SRAM and synchronous DRAM products,” said William Chen, director of sales, Asia, for Alliance Memory. “The addition of Mars to our team in Asia provides an invaluable resource for our existing customers in terms of support while also allowing us to develop new relationships throughout the country.”
“I have worked with Alliance Memory before at the distributor level, and I’m thrilled to be joining the team,” said Zhang. “This is a fantastic opportunity, and I look forward to working closely with our customers in China as we help them to avoid costly redesigns with our legacy components.”
Previously, Zhang served as sales engineer for Yosun South China Corp Ltd. and Future Electronics, where he represented product lines from major manufacturers in a wide range of markets, including industrial, smart grid, and RFID. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and automation from the Guilin University of Electronic Technology.
Zhang is based in Shenzhen, China, and reports to Chen.
