SAN CARLOS, Calif. — April 7, 2014 — Alliance Memory today announced that Daniel Mak has joined the company as its sales director in Hong Kong and Southern China. In his new role, Mr. Mak will be responsible for directing all sales activities in the region as the company’s SRAM and DRAM products continue to experience market growth.
Mr. Mak has worked in the semiconductor industry since 1991, holding key management positions since 1998. A veteran of DRAM manufacturer Winbond, Mr. Mak was most recently area manager of Hong Kong for Metatech Ltd. Previously, he served as sales manager for Karin Electronic Supplies Co. Ltd.
“Not only does Daniel have over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, but he also has experience working closely with Alliance Memory and our products,” said Dan Gilbert, vice president of sales at Alliance Memory. “Combine this with his impressive track record of success in managerial positions and extensive knowledge of the Hong Kong market, and it’s clear that he’s the perfect choice to lead our sales efforts in the region.”

Mr. Mak holds a Higher Certificate in electronic engineering from Hong Kong Polytechnic and a degree in applied physics from the City University of Hong Kong. He is based in Hong Kong and reports to Mr. Gilbert.
