Stead Supply in a Shifting Memory Market

The long-term availability of many legacy DRAM products is changing across the industry. Components that were once expected to stay in production are now reaching end-of-life, while pricing pressures and suspended quotations are becoming increasingly common.

At Alliance Memory, we remain committed to supporting legacy DRAMs. We continue to manufacture these devices and have no plans to alter our pricing model. That means you can count on:

  • An ongoing, reliable supply of SDR, DDR, DDR2, DDR3/L, LPSDR, LPDDR, and LPDDR2 SDRAMs
  • Stable pricing — no sudden jumps, no surprises
  • Drop-in compatibility with existing designs

If your team is evaluating last-time buys or alternative sourcing, we’d like to show you how Alliance Memory can provide a smoother, lower-risk path forward.

eMMC: Full Lineup, Long-Term Support

While others scale back, Alliance Memory continues to support a complete eMMC lineup — from 4GB to 128GB — for the long term. Recent end-of-life announcements from major suppliers have left many customers scrambling, particularly for lower-density parts.

We’ve secured new flash sources to keep our portfolio intact and maintain consistent availability across the full range. If your usual supply has dried up, we’re ready to support you now — and for the long haul.

Micron End-of-Life Notice: Now’s the Time to Switch

Micron has officially announced the end-of-life for its 60-series legacy DRAM product lines — including DDR, DDR2, LPDDR, and SDRAM devices. If you’ve received PCN 35961, you know these parts are on a firm timeline: last orders by June 2026, last shipments by June 2027 — and NCNR terms start as early as April 2026.

At Alliance Memory, we’ve been manufacturing all of these legacy parts — and we’re continuing to do so. If you’re planning a big last-time buy from Micron, now is the perfect time to evaluate Alliance Memory as your ongoing source instead. Let’s talk about how we can keep your production going without disruption — and at a lower cost.

FROM THE PRESIDENT

If you depend on legacy DRAM or flash products for long-life designs, you’ve probably noticed the market changing around you. Devices that once seemed secure for the long term are now being discontinued, and pricing across the industry continues to rise. Quotations are being revised, and suppliers are focusing production on newer generations of memory for AI and datacenter applications.

These changes can make it harder for you to plan ahead. You need predictable costs, a stable supply, and the confidence that the parts you qualify today will still be available tomorrow.

At Alliance Memory, we’re maintaining a steady course. We continue to manufacture the legacy DRAM and flash products our customers rely on, with a pricing model that remains unchanged. Our philosophy is simple: stability and trust are as important as performance and cost.

As the market evolves, we’ll keep doing what we’ve always done — support customers that need a reliable, long-term supply for the products that keep their businesses running.

Thanks for your continued support — we’re always just a call or email away.
