LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT
It’s hard to believe that 2021 is just about in the books, and what a year it’s been for Alliance Memory. On the one hand, our industry experienced an extremely challenging 12 months due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic. But while IC memory shortages have become the norm, we’ve managed to thrive in the face of adversity. In fact, compared to 2020, we’ve doubled our revenue. And as we stand on the brink of 2022, we can’t help but feel optimistic about the year ahead.
While the pandemic remains unpredictable, there is a sense that the worst is behind us. Our employees are safe, and our sights are firmly fixed on the future, where key indicators point to continued growth. These include a strong backlog heading into the new year; multiple foundry partners with the capacity required to maintain our growth and address supply issues; and a number of new products in the pipeline. Furthermore, our inventory continues to increase, which allows us to keep lead times short for our customers. And if that’s not enough, we’ll also be striving to increase our workflow efficiency by upgrading the systems used across our organization.
So, the future certainly looks bright for Alliance Memory, and for the industry as a whole. We’re excited to see the progress that will be made in areas like IoT, 5G, and AI in the coming year, and how our solutions will contribute to the evolution of these technologies.
Thanks, as always, for your support. Stay safe and have a happy new year!
