LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT
At the end of last year, we were feeling a lot of optimism about 2022, and judging by what we’ve seen so far it looks like this is going to be another stellar year. We had a record January for sales, and I believe we’re going to have a record Q1. Our planned strategy to increase our inventory is succeeding, even though we continue to have pockets of individual issues around certain package types. The big picture, however, is that we’re reducing lead times for our customers, and we’re continuing to pick up market share. From Europe to the U.S. to Asia, we’re seeing good strength in all our markets.
The expansion of our facilities in Taiwan continues to pay dividends. The larger space is allowing us to handle higher volumes of inventory for regional customers and thus reduce their lead times. Our Taiwan strategy is just one of several initiatives we’ve undertaken to help us better serve you. Later this year we’ll be moving into a cloud-based software program that will help us better manage our customers, our inventory, and other aspects of our business. I’m looking forward to sharing more about it with you in the coming months. For now, I hope your year is off to a great start and I thank you, as always, for your support. Stay safe!
David Bagby
President and CEO
